a beating

For as long as you haven't pass the test, you'll continue to be given the same sorta test. It took me awhile to actually know this, quite the answer I've been asking for, for years. 'Why the same tests?'

“Indeed there is a piece of flesh in your body that, if it is sound, then the whole body will be sound, and if it is corrupt then the whole body will be corrupt. Indeed it is the heart.”

The heart is the king to our actions. Hence the beatings it has to take in are quite harsh, yet so subtle. Anger management, crush control, handling ego, cranky and sissy self and whats not.
