Every adversity. Every trial. Every teardrop. Each time, will take our Iman to greater heights. It's like getting a job promotion. Higher salary, bigger responsibility, more workload.
But, if only... we'd be as happy as getting a job promotion as we are to accept a trial as a blessing from Allah. Iman of one who prays, is like a clerk. Iman of one who prays and fast, is like a senior clerk. Iman of one who prays, fast and alot of other ibadah, is like a CEO.
Once we're a CEO, we'd be looked up by inhabitants of the heavens, instead of being looked up by inhabitants of the earth. Well, the latter case is subjective. One can be looked up to, or looked down to.
And glad tidings to those who are strange.
Alhamdulillah, for the trials today. Alhamdulillah for the trials tomorrow. May Allah grant us the strength to stand firm, and get a promotion.
